So you want to own a business, but are considering a franchise for the convenience of a set business plan, name recognition of the company and potential to make a lot of money with a proven system.  The problem is that Franchise owners usually have to come up with between 5,000 and 100,000 dollars to open a franchise, secure contracts for business space, obtain all applicable licenses and insurance, not to mention a time investment of 80 to 100 hours a week.  Being a franchise owner sure doesn’t sound like a lot of fun .

Some people have bad impressions of network marketing companies because of some disreputable companies .  The word Pyramid Scam often comes up and many people ask if Network Marketing is a Pyramid Organization ; the answer is Yes , but so is that franchise you were interested in .  You see, the executive or owner of your franchise benefits when you open a franchise and makes sales , your network marketing business operates in just the same way.

A word of warning though , make sure that whatever franchise or network marketing company you choose is established, legitamate and that people actually want what you’ll have to offer. No one wants to invest time or money in a business that has inferior products, compensation or business plan.
