Creating A Money Making Blog From Scratch

There are lot’s of reasons for blogging, making money, being at the top of most people’s mind. It is a simple method of getting your product’s out to the world by providing quality post’s related to your niche. Search engines will list your posts if consistent and relevent information is offered.

I use WordPress as you have more room to move, although Blogger is also good. They both make it very simple to have your blog up and running in a matter of minutes. Then the fun begins!

After you create your blog, the next step is to start posting so you can get visitors, which is of course very important if you plan on making money. Then you need to decide how you will make money from your blog.

You can easily place Google Adsense ads on your blog, this gives you a head start to get some quick easy money. Although, this will take your visitor away from your site, but you will make some money from there visit.

Topic Or Niche

You should try to keep your post’s on the same topic, then you can have an unlimited number of blogs for any and every topic you choose. The easiest way for you to decide what niche you are going to target, is to use something you already know a bit about. For instance, you may be intersted in a sport, gardening or home decorating, the choice is yours and there are a ton of topics you can use.

If you decide on a dog training site then keep your post’s on dog’s – training, grooming, types of food and exercise for dog’s.

Posting

Once you are up and running and have made your choice of niche it’s time to add a few keyword rich post’s. Google have a free tool that will enable you to target your market by selecting good keyword terms and phrases to use. Sprinkle these keywords around your post but don’t go overboard. Enter “google keyword tool” into your search engine to locate it.

Remember, if you are using the dog training niche, don’t post about cat’s. Stay on your selected niche and create another blog for cat’s. This is very important as you want search engines to find your site and realise you have good quality dog related content, they will then add your posts to your chosen keyword phrase on there engine. That is your Goal!!!

Making Quick Easy Money

The easiest way to make money is with affiliate programs or your own products if you have them, of course. Companies will pay you good money to advertise their products, and all you have to do is put a link or banner on your site leading to that companies web site. Once a sale is made the company gives you a commission. That is the reason you should pick one topic for your blog. If you want to have a blog about growing vegetables, by all means do it, but have other blogs about other specific topics.

You can then search for afilliate programs on how to grow veggies, fertilizers, soil and anything else about veggies. Clickbank is a good source of afilliate products, also Amazon.

Make sure you have a nice selection of afilliate products to offer and you can even add links to them in your post’s. The more the merrier, what one person is looking for another won’t, so vary your afilliate products to cover most of your niche, and you can make some nice quick easy money!

The internet is the essence of marketing, by that I mean, every word in an ad matters, every color, where the ad is located on your blog and the color of the text. It might not seem like all of those things matter, but the fact is, everything that you decide matters.

The good thing is you can experiment with how your blog looks as much as you want. There are several ebooks written on how you should place and where you should place your ads. In the beginning, just go with the basic set up until you get the hang of things.

WordPress 3.0 – Customise to Your Heart’s Content

Now we are three…

A whole 5 years since version 2.0, and 6 months in the making, WordPress 3.0 has arrived, under the jazzy guise of Thelonious (as in Monk, the master of improvisation and innovation, man…):

The update boasts streamlining and multi-networking changes, a whopping 1,217 bug fixes and feature enhancements, bulk updating as well as a ”sexy” new default theme. Here are some highlights:

Twenty Ten – the new theme (replacing Kubrik as the default) is supposed to be easier to modify and customise due to new APIs, with a more user-friendly interface. You can choose from either a background image (scrolling or static) or colour; 8 different header images; specific header “feature” images for separate posts; and a smarter Visual Editor, which allows you to see what your post will look like without having to keep clicking ”preview”.
Custom Post Types - Add pretty much any sort of content,  beyond the default options of “post” or “page” – customise types of posts to best display what you’re trying to show, for example: product pages, design portfolios, employee/client information. Just choose between text, photo, quote, link, chat, audio or video to create your own.
Menu Management – 3.0 makes it easier to organise and customise (can’t stop using that word, but if the shoe fits…) your navigation menus. Drag and drop all you like to create a more unique network of links – external and internal - throughout your site.
Domain-Specific URL Shortener – WP 2.9 had its own integrated link-shortener, but 3.0 takes it up a notch by letting you retain your domain name within the URL.
Multiple User Merge – MU has been merged with WordPress so multisite networks can now be run though one account by hardworking admins (though early research is showing that this is more easy to do through delegation as there is not one all-encompasing global dashboard where you can tweak plug-ins or themes).

The WordPress team say they’ll be working on further development of the network and community rather than steaming ahead onto 3.1, splitting into several “ninja/pirate teams focused on different areas of the around-WordPress experience, including the showcase, Codex, forums, profiles, update and compatibility APIs, theme directory, plugin directory, mailing lists, core plugins, wordcamp.org… the possibilities are endless.”

So generally, good news for WP users – a more customisable (last time, promise), yet simpler and more logical set up, allowing multimedia integration and multisite organisation. With blogs becoming an integral part of online business, marketing and SEO, hopefully WP 3.0 will make things easier.

Making money by online blogging has become a trend taken by many writers to join these markets that have become a source of bigger income, in the same time it these markets would provide the buyers with quality works for affordable prices.

Blogging has become a huge business for so many reasons. Of course, the continuous updating of the website content, the simplicity of the material and the wit of the writers made it the best form of printed information for almost all internet users, regardless their ethnicity, nationality or age. That’s why bloggers and e-zine writers have turned into big winners of large sums of money in the past decade.

Online magazines usually start as small business with limited amount of readers, but every now and then we get to hear about a certain writer or blogger who turned into a big shot with thousands of readers everywhere. These writers tend to write about almost anything; from politics, sports, weight loss to culture, news and religion.

People tend to follow these blogs and online magazines with a great enthusiasm and zeal. Each blogger has got many fans that are dedicated to following his writings. Readers love to follow the blogs much more than following the writers in other forms of written media.

Blogs differ on the way their owners plan for their own income. Some writers leave their works free of charge, so that any user can read all he wants just by logging in. Others prefer to have their content available through subscription.

Other bloggers just depend on having advertisements published on their websites and blogs. The more the readers a blogger have, the bigger his chances for advertisements are. This way you will have your own magazine published online, and a big sum of money will be added to your account thanks to the advertisements. Of course, the quality of the blog should be maintained to ensure a continuous flow of money.

Of course, it is not an easy job to make money online blogging. You will have to deal with many aspects of the project like designing the theme of the website, writing the material and the posts, adding pictures and of course getting sufficient financial support. If all this goes in the right way, rest assured that you will earn a lot of money and a bigger bank account would be yours.
