The Benefits Of Purchasing A Franchise From A New Franchise Company Or Idea

When looking into a franchise for sale you must have noticed the increasing number of new franchise ideas that are available. This puts you in a difficult situation as you now have the choice between the well-established, large franchise companies and the new, smaller franchise companies.

Many people looking into starting their own franchise take the logical approach by opting for the well-established, larger option. This is the safest choice because of the established brand name and different locations but this does not guarantee the success of the franchise. On the flip side if you rule out new franchise companies for the sole reason that they are new then you might be missing out on a perfectly good investment opportunity and something that may suit your needs.

The idea of new franchise ideas and companies may frighten a few people off because they are more risky, we will now take a look at some good points that a new franchise for sale option can offer.

The first advantage of new franchise ideas is that they have the potential to make a lot of money from the new idea before the market becomes too competitive. You must do you research into the idea and company and if it seems a good opportunity and you have got a good feeling about it then you may want to invest and give it a go. With it being a new franchise, if you are one of the first starters then the opportunities to grow more and have your ‘feet under table’ is a major advantage.
The new franchise companies will devote more time to the first few franchisees, they generally offer more support and attention. This is in their benefit because the first few franchises are really important in the success of the franchise company. If you are number 2000 in the franchise chain you may not get the support and attention as the franchise is growing and may not have the support structure in place to support the growth, so getting in early will be beneficial.
In a new franchise for sale option you will be able to take advantage of new, prime locations that have not been taken. In a well-established franchise most of the prime locations will have been taken and therefore it will be more difficult for the franchise to be successful. In long-standing franchises, areas can become saturated and therefore the competition will be much greater so taking on a fresh location will be beneficial to the new franchise ideas.
In new franchise companies the objective is to get people on board so the negotiations of contract terms and investment may be in your favour. You should have a head-start on other franchisees in the future as once the franchise is established these negotiating terms will be less likely.

There are risks involved with investing in new franchise ideas and companies but it still beats starting up your own business from scratch. Franchise companies that decide to offer these options do so on the basis of their experience and business structure, these companies have been in business for a number of years and franchising was their next step to increase their business and success.

WordPress Is The Right Choice For Blogging and Open Source

WordPress means different things to different people.

For starters, a majority of its users will easily describe it simply as a means by which a person can start a blog column for the general public to see.

On the other hand, there are numerous internet patrons who recognize this free open source software as a Content Management System, or CMS, for website building and subsequent website maintenance once a site has been launched into the cyberspace universe.

Regardless of these differing views, WordPress seamlessly performs both of these functions to make for an all-around fun and interactive online experience.

What is open source, and why is it so advantageous to the consumer when it comes to making a website or a blog post?

An open source platform is one where the computer software and its ensuing code are created by a web builder (or someone else experienced in software development).

The ‘open source’ part enters the picture since the code used to create the new computer program is made available to any and all individuals or companies who wish to use it for their own online projects.

Despite the fact that there is a licensing agreement associated with using open source code, said agreement merely states that the code is up for grabs to the public and can thus be modified in whatever manner desired, without penalty or cost, to fit a consumer’s website needs.

What is the best advantage of this particular software?

It is so easy to learn that anyone can do it, prior internet experience or not!

In addition to explicit instructions on how to operate each aspect of it, WordPress offers tremendous ability for the computer user to design and customize his or her blog posts and/or website. And because it is open source, it is therefore possible to play around and modify the CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) design code to the individual’s liking.

There are also free plug-ins available to help one’s project to become even more interactive for the online community, and to customize the performance of the website or blog post in question. An example of a plug-in is “All In One SEO” which assists in making one’s site more search-engine friendly and therefore able to be found by consumers much more easily.

Opportunities to create abound with this open source software, so check it out today and see for yourself!

WordPress Survival-How To Use Plugins

As with all my WordPress articles you will find they are written in a plain English, easy to understand way so that regardless of anyone’s expertise level you will always understand them and this article “how to use Plugins” is no exception.

A Quick Background

A Plugin or PLG for short is really like an add on that you can use with your WordPress blog so that you create a more enhanced, more exciting, user friendly blog. There normally free and very easy to use, in fact the only work you need do is really installing them.

In a nutshell they make your blogging experience a lot more fruitful and so too your readers.

There are literally thousands of PLG’s that are available to use right now either within your WordPress admin panel or out there in Google land.

An example of one would be to make your blog more search engine friendly or to link your blog to Facebook. Perhaps you want to have a photo album on your blog or you want to do stuff with videos or stop people stealing your posts. A Plugin will allow you to do these things and a whole lot more and without you ever having to know the technical side of it, just install one and play.

How Do We Install One

Well first thing you need do is decide what you actually want one for. On my site for instance I have PLG’s for Twitter and Facebook plus other social sites with nice looking buttons that people can click. I have ones that let me choose where certain posts or articles will appear. I also have one that lets Google find my site and list it for higher search ranking. So decide first what it is your trying to achieve.

Now log into you WordPress admin panel and scroll down the far let column under Dashboard until you see Plugins. Click the Add New where you will be presented with the chance to search. You can either do 1 or 2 things here. Either look in the large search box to see if any of the keywords are similar to what you are looking to do, if so click on that word and see what becomes available. If you see something that matches what you want to do then simply click the install button in the box of the one you have chosen and once installed click the activate button. The PLG is now on your blog and ready to use.

If however there is nothing in the large search box to match your ideas then try putting a relevant word in the small search box above. If you see something to match your wants then as before simply install and activate.

Still Not Found The Right One

Even though WordPress has many many plugins within the admin panel it can be quite common still not to find the right one. In this case we just have to widen our search horizons by using an engine such as Google or Yahoo to find the correct one. Admittedly this way takes a little bit longer but its hardly a killer.

Again type in what your looking for in the Google box and see what results appear then go to a page that looks good, see if its the type of PLG you want then download it. There is normally a big download button for easy installation on these pages.

NB: Now remember where your downloading it to on your computer. I tend to create a separate file on my desktop just for this purpose just to keep things nice and clean. To create a special file simply go to your computers home page (Desk Top), the one where you see all the icons when you start your computer. Now right click your mouse then click on New then click on Folder at the top. Rename it something your remember, you have now created a new folder.

So download the Plugin and choose to store it into your new folder, once this is done go to your WordPress admin panel/Dashboard, go to Add New in the Plugin section on the left hand column and click. What you will do now is click on the Upload link (in blue) at the top of the page then hit browse. Go to the new file you created with the download in ( this will be located in Desk Top). Double click on the link in this file. You should now see this in the browse box of your admin panel, click install now and then activate. There we are done. Took a little bit longer but I am sure it did not hurt.

Using your newly Activated Plugin.

It really depends on the type you have installed in regards to what you do now. Some such as Google Site Map (helps Google find your blog) require no touching at all but others may need you to put in information manually. To be honest there pretty self explanatory. If you have one that needs placing somewhere on your blog like social media buttons then obviously your going to have to decide where there to go.

Generally you will find any PLG’s, that require additional input, to be under the settings tab which is at the very bottom of your Dashboard panel on the left hand side. You will then see the name of your Plugin, just click on that and follow the instructions.

In others you may see them when writing new posts or building new pages. They will be there waiting to be used at the appropriate time.

Congratulations you now know how to use Plugins.
